Multinational power transmission project begins in Mongolia

TOKYO -- SoftBank Group is launching an ambitious project to build a huge power transmission network stretching over six countries in Asia.

Even Son Masayoshi, the hard-charging CEO of the telecom and internet conglomerate, who is known for boasting about his outsize ambitions, has called the "Asia Super Grid" project "oburoshiki," the Japanese word for "big talk."
