MANILA -- Asia's emerging economies will feel the material impact of the incoming U.S. President Donald Trump's policies in 2026 and beyond, according to the projections by the Asian Development Bank.

The bank said economies in East Asia could see a decline in gross domestic product growth due to their stronger trade linkages with China, against which the new U.S. administration plans to impose higher tariffs, while South and Southeast Asian countries would benefit from supply chain diversification.
