HONG KONG -- China's top food and household product companies said they would step up efforts to seek growth overseas after weak demand at home dented earnings last year.

China Mengniu Dairy, a leader in the country's dairy product industry, reported a 10% decline in revenue to 88.67 billion yuan ($12.21 billion) for 2024, with a 98% drop in net profit to 104.50 million yuan.
