SHANGHAI/HONG KONG -- Chinese stocks fell and long-term bond yields hit fresh record lows on Friday, a day after a closely-watched meeting by top officials failed to ease investor concerns over an economic slowdown.
The mainland's blue-chip CSI 300 Index opened 0.7% lower and dropped further to 1.82% at the end of the Friday morning session, falling below the 4,000 point mark.
