The event's panelists included Naoko Kuga, chief researcher at the NLI Research Institute; Toshikazu Koike, president of Japan's Brother Industries; Shinichi Uchida, head of the Bank of Japan's Nagoya branch; and Jun Saito, senior research fellow at the Japan Center for Economic Research. The discussion, organized jointly by Nikkei Inc. and the JCER, was moderated by Hiroshi Yamazaki, a Nikkei deputy managing editor.
