DHAKA -- Bangladesh's government is rushing to determine the cause of a data breach that exposed the personal information of around 50 million citizens -- the latest blow to the country's cybersecurity reputation.

Analysts say the leak is an indictment of the government's IT infrastructure, in particular, stressing it shows the need for a security overhaul in the public sector.
