Japan December GDP grew 0.1% from November, as Q4 seen up 7.1%

TOKYO -- Japan's inflation-adjusted gross domestic product expanded by just 0.1% in December from the previous month, as corporate spending grew steadily, the Japan Center for Economic Research said Wednesday.

The world's third largest economy expanded for the third consecutive month, after growth of 1.7% in October and 2.2% in November.
