Japan Display eases bailout concerns with OLED plans

A hand up, not just a handout, from public-private rescue fund

TOKYO -- Japan Display is receiving 75 billion yen ($650 million) from the state-backed Innovation Network Corp. of Japan for commercializing OLED panels under a scheme crafted over six months to minimize the appearance of a government bailout.
