Japan GDP up 0.6% in September, due to exports to China, EU: JCER

Think tank estimates Q3 expansion slows to annualized 0.8%

TOKYO -- Japan's economy grew 0.6% in September on a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, thanks to expanding exports, particularly to China and Europe, the Japan Center for Economic Research said on Wednesday.

The Tokyo think tank also estimated that Japan's economy grew 0.8% in the July-September quarter from the one before.
