TOKYO -- The Japanese economy grew at an annualized 0.2% pace in September versus the previous month, helped by a recovery in exports, reversing from a 0.6% contraction in August, according to data compiled by the Japan Center for Economic Research.
The think tank now estimates the country's inflation-adjusted gross domestic product for the July to September quarter shank 1.5% versus the April to June period. The Japanese government is expected to release official GDP data next Wednesday.
