TOKYO -- Japan's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product for June grew 1.1% from the previous month, thanks to strong private consumption, the Japan Center for Economic Research said on Monday.

The think tank also estimated the country's quarterly GDP for the April to June period expanded 3.1% versus the first quarter of 2022.
