UTSUNOMIYA, Japan -- Utsunomiya, a city just northeast of Tokyo, wants to be a major destination for global MICE -- meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.
The city has already launched promotional tours and is training staff as it aims to attract wealthy tourists and stimulate the local economy.
