TOKYO -- More than 70% of Japanese chief financial officers consider a Donald Trump presidency a near-term risk to the American economy, a survey released Friday shows.
The Deloitte Tohmatsu accounting group asked about economic risks to the U.S., Japan and Europe over the next year. CFOs from about 100 Japanese companies, mainly listed enterprises, participated in the poll. The survey ran from Sept. 27 to Oct. 14, before Trump's poll numbers recovered sharply.
