BANGKOK -- Japanese companies operating elsewhere in Asia expect employee pay to rise more slowly in 2016 than in 2015 in 10 out of 11 countries and regions, with uncertainty stemming from China's slowdown likely leaving management leery of raises.
Nikkei Research surveyed Japanese businesses about wage trends for local staff, with 1,704 businesses responding.
