MANILA -- Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. plans a "soft launch" for his planned sovereign wealth fund when he attends next week's World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"The World Economic Forum is a great venue to do a sort of soft launch for our sovereign wealth fund, given the prominence of the forum itself, and global and business leaders who will be there," Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Carlos Sorreta said at a news conference on Thursday.
