Philippines' Marcos names lawmaker Recto as new finance chief

MANILA -- Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has announced the appointment of lawmaker Ralph Recto as the head of his administration's economic team.

The presidential office announced on Thursday night that Recto will be sworn in to replace Benjamin Diokno as finance secretary.
