The People's Bank of China has issued a series of regulations since the end of November targeting yuan transactions.

SHANGHAI -- China is stepping up efforts to curb the flow of capital as the country aims to prevent the yuan from escaping its shores, leaving businesses and commercial banks increasingly frustrated.
