Shares slide to near 2-week low ahead of Fed, BoJ meetings

MUMBAI (NewsRise) -- Indian shares fell Monday, tracking regional indexes, as investors turned risk averse ahead of the outcome of two major central bank meetings this week.

    The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 0.62% to 25,678.91 points, its lowest level since April 12. The Sensex is up 1.33% in April so far and down 1.7% in 2016. The broader NSE Nifty50 index declined 0.56 to 7,855.05 points.
