Shares slip to near six-week low as Modi loses Bihar

MUMBAI (NewsRise) -- Indian shares slipped to a near six-week low Monday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party lost a crucial state election, raising fears of a slowdown in the reforms process.

   Much better-than-expected U.S. jobs data for October reinforced expectations of a December rate increase by the Federal Reserve, fuelling concerns of foreign fund outflows.
