Singapore logs 0.4% GDP growth amid stresses on global finance

City-state maintains 2023 growth outlook at 0.5% to 2.5%

SINGAPORE -- The Singaporean economy expanded 0.4% in the January-March quarter from a year ago, according to revised figures released on Thursday, up from a 0.1% expansion predicted last month.

The country maintained its forecast economic growth rate this year at between 0.5% and 2.5%, with growth likely to come in at around the mid-point of that range.
