SINGAPORE -- Singapore's economy grew 0.7% in the April-June period from the year before, preliminary data showed on Friday, expanding marginally from 0.4% growth in the previous quarter amid weak external demand.
On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally adjusted basis, the nation's gross domestic product grew 0.3%, reversing a 0.4% contraction in the first quarter.
