SINGAPORE -- The Singaporean central bank on Friday announced it will release monetary policy decisions quarterly from next year, rather than the current schedule of twice a year, as it seeks to enhance communications with the market amid global inflation.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore currently holds two scheduled monetary policy meetings a year, in April and October. But in light of unprecedented global inflation in recent years, the central bank is pushing to evaluate and communicate policy more flexibly.
