SEOUL -- The South Korean economy maintained its growth momentum in the third quarter, matching the previous quarter's output, as exports rebounded.

Quarterly growth came to 0.6% in the July-to-September period, the same figure logged in the second quarter. Exports grew 3.5%, driven by shipments of semiconductors and machinery, the Bank of Korea said, after a 0.9% decline in the second quarter.
