Business leaders participate in gathering linked to countries' trilateral summit

SEOUL -- Top business executives from South Korea, Japan and China agreed on Monday to cooperate in areas including digital transition, trade and supply chains by establishing a joint working group as leaders of the three countries hosted a trilateral business meeting after concluding their first summit in more than four years.

Hundreds of executives discussed how they can help boost the economy and achieve sustainable development in East Asia in the face of geopolitical risks in the region. The participants included SK Chairman Chey Tae-won from South Korea, Hitachi Executive Chairman Toshiaki Higashihara from Japan, and China Petrochemical President Zhao Dong.
