SINGAPORE -- StarHub, Singapore's second-largest telecommunications company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with third-place telecom M1 to work more closely as competition is set to intensify with the upcoming entry of a fourth player.

The memorandum signed on Thursday would allow both companies to collaborate further in shared mobile infrastructure with a focus on radio access networks. "For many years, M1 and StarHub have been sharing mobile infrastructure through mutual cooperation," said a news release on Thursday.
