NEW YORK -- Chinese provincial and municipal officials are visiting the U.S. to seek trade and investment opportunities, attempting to chart a way through the escalating trade conflict between the world's two largest economies.
Earlier this week, officials from Jiangxi's Commerce Department visited Los Angeles to host a supply chain event where 10 procurement cooperation agreements worth $116 million were signed. The event also discussed the rising challenges of tariffs and the impact on supply chains, according to a person who attended.
