WASHINGTON -- Japanese and U.S. tariff negotiators finished their fourth round of talks on Friday with no apparent agreement, deciding to hold more discussions ahead of the Group of Seven summit in June.

Japanese Minister for Economic and Fiscal Policy Ryosei Akazawa met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and other officials in the U.S. capital for over two hours.
