Top US, China officials to meet in Switzerland to discuss trade

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will travel on Thursday to Switzerland, where they will meet a Chinese counterpart for trade talks, their respective offices announced.

China's Xinhua News Agency said that He Lifeng will represent the Chinese side in a high-level meeting with the U.S. "on economic and trade affairs."
