TAIPEI -- Suppliers for top U.S. tech giants Nvidia, Apple, Google and more say they are facing higher levels of uncertainty than during the COVID-19 pandemic, with President Donald Trump's on-and-off tariff policies leaving companies operating "as if there is no tomorrow."

These suppliers, which help make smartphones, PCs, and servers, including Nvidia's AI servers, have been forced to make 180-degree changes to production and shipping plans in a matter of days or even less, Nikkei Asia has learned.
