Shanghai lockdown depresses China trade growth to 2-year low

Monthly increase of trade volume retreats to virtual standstill

BEIJING -- China's trade has slowed to levels not seen since the height of the pandemic nearly two years ago due to fallout from COVID-related lockdowns imposed on Shanghai and other cities.
