NEW YORK -- A bipartisan group of U.S. House members on Wednesday called on the Trump administration to investigate trade fraud, including evasion of tariffs on Chinese goods, and promised to reintroduce legislation toughening enforcement of duties.

The Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party wrote letters to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security, urging more support for investigative efforts to combat problematic trade practices by China.
