GUANGZHOU -- Businesses based in the Chinese high-tech capital of Shenzhen are gearing up to branch out to other cities now that a new bridge and tunnel system has eased travel across the Pearl River estuary.
Spanning 24 kilometers (15 miles), the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link was welcomed by locals for cutting travel time between the two cities to just 30 minutes from the previous two hours.
