Reversing Communist Party policy risks more damage than Trump tariffs

TOKYO -- As the world watched the high-profile dinner meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump in Buenos Aires last Saturday, news broke from an unexpected source.

"The two leaders agreed that there will be no additional tariffs imposed after Jan. 1," reported China Global Television Network, the 24-hour English-language news channel of state-run China Central Television.
