OSAKA -- After gaining a foothold in the U.S., Japanese arcade operator Round One is venturing into the restaurant industry with high-end food halls showcasing cuisine from its home country.

"We have the infrastructure to sell products that were created in Japan in the U.S. When we thought about how we could take advantage of that, we hit on the possibility of Japanese food," President Masahiko Sugino told Nikkei.
