TOKYO -- Canadian convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard wants to acquire the entire business of Japanese retailer Seven & i Holdings, CEO Alex Miller told Nikkei in an exclusive interview in Tokyo on Thursday.

"We don't want to buy a part of the company," Miller said. Couche-Tard has made a $47 billion takeover bid for the Japanese company.
