JAKARTA -- Indonesia's second-biggest mobile operator, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, is turning to artificial intelligence to fuel revenue growth, looking to tap the technology with U.S. chipmaker Nvidia to help it personalize services and decide on infrastructure investment.
"We want to make sure we grow at least double digits next year on ARPU -- so AI will play a significant role [in] personalizing [services]," Vikram Sinha, Indosat's president director and chief executive, told Nikkei Asia in an interview this week. He was referring to average revenue per unit, an industry gauge of profitability.
