TOKYO -- Japanese financial services group Credit Saison plans to ramp up its business in Asia as it pushes further beyond its maturing home market and traditional customer base, its head told Nikkei Asia in a recent interview.

An early partner with Singapore-based ride-hailing startup Grab, Credit Saison is looking to diversify away from its core credit card business by tapping nascent demand for digital lending in Asia through tie-ups with local companies.
