TOKYO -- The heavy machinery industry could experience potential upsides, such as through increased housing construction, if former U.S. President Donald Trump returns to the White House in 2025, according to a senior executive at Japanese player Kubota.
"There is no need to be too pessimistic," Kubota Executive Vice President Masato Yoshikawa said of a possible Trump presidency in an interview with Nikkei. He also said an increase in the company's balance of receivables is a result of brisk sales.
