TOKYO -- Japanese construction machinery maker Komatsu hopes to boost North American sales by covering the interest on leases for new machinery, looking to make up for a drop in demand caused by high interest rates in the region, Chief Financial Officer Takeshi Horikoshi told Nikkei.
