BRUSSELS -- Poland is experiencing an "unprecedented" influx of refugees in both pace and scale, Polish ambassador to NATO Tomasz Szatkowski told Nikkei on Wednesday, warning of a growing humanitarian crisis caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"We will not reject anybody who is threatened by war and who comes to find safe shelter," Szatkowski said.
