UNITED NATIONS -- The international community "should interfere" if North Korea and Russia cooperate on nuclear weapons development, Estonian President Alar Karis said, expressing concerns over the budding relationship between Moscow and Pyongyang.

Karis spoke to Nikkei on the sidelines of the General Assembly on Thursday. The growing relationship "doesn't make us very happy," he said, adding that nuclear weapons are "a danger to any country."
