TOKYO -- Electronics manufacturer Foxconn is eager to work with Japanese automakers, including Nissan Motor, to form a strong Japan-Taiwan alliance, the executive in charge of the company's electronic vehicle production strategy says.
"When doing something together, compatibility is the most important thing. ... From our perspective, the compatibility with Japanese automakers, especially Nissan, will become a strength" for Foxconn, the Taiwanese manufacturer's chief strategy officer for EVs, Jun Seki, told Nikkei Asia during an interview in Tokyo on Tuesday.
