ANKARA -- A day before data showed Turkey's prices increase at the fastest pace in nearly two decades, Turkey's finance minister said he sees the country's runaway inflation peaking in April.

Newly appointed Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati was upbeat throughout an exclusive interview with Nikkei Asia in Ankara on Wednesday, saying: "I do not think we will see 50%. I hope I am not wrong."
