TOKYO -- Nomura Holdings on Tuesday announced it will for the first time appoint co-chief operating officers to take charge of domestic and overseas operations separately.
As part of its regular April management reshuffle, Toshio Morita, president of core unit Nomura Securities, and Kentaro Okuda, who heads the group's operations in the Americas, will replace Tetsu Ozaki, current COO and deputy president of the group. Ozaki will become vice chairman upon leaving his current role.
