Elephant Gym ready to emerge from Taiwan's COVID cocoon

Taiwanese band heading to Fuji Rock on the heels of new album release

KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan -- The last time indie band Elephant Gym played for an overseas audience was in Japan in January 2020. Drummer Tu Chia-chin recalled hearing news of a virus spreading in China at the time.

"Of course we had no clue that things would end up like this," Tu said.
