Tokyo company offers unlimited concerts for $14 a month

Work-style changes mean people have longer evenings to spend on leisure

The sonar-u service offers flat-rate pricing for unlimited access to concerts.

TOKYO -- Now that Japan's work-style reform has pushed many companies to reduce the length of work shifts, Actcall has a suggestion for making the most of your longer work-free evenings: go to as many music concerts as you want.

Actcall's sonar-u service allows unlimited access to live music events for a tax-exclusive flat monthly rate of 1,600 yen ($14.1). It plans to increase the number of artists by 2.5-fold and hold a tournament to decide the best artist as decided by the service's members in 2018.
