HONG KONG -- Lee Shau-kee, a Hong Kong property tycoon and the city's second-richest man behind only Li Ka-shing, died on Monday at the age 97.

Lee, who established his business empire from scratch, mainly in Hong Kong and later in mainland China, was also a major philanthropist. His flair for shrewd stock investments earned him the nickname "Asia's Warren Buffett."
