Geely Automobile Holdings October Sales Up Nearly 30% To Record High

HONG KONG (Nov 06) -- Geely Automobile Holdings, the Hong Kong-listed Chinese carmaker, said Monday that total October sales volume grew about 30% on year to a record high, thanks to the high sales of new models launched in 2016.

The company sold total 125,118 units in the month, a 15% increase over September sales, it said in an exchange filing on Monday. The "Geely Boyue", one of the new models, recorded a sales volume of 30,138 units.

The Group said it has achieved 87% of the revised full year sales volume target of 1,100,000 units in 2017.
