Hong Kong-Listed Dongfeng Motor's January Vehicle Sales Up 17.3% On-Year

HONG KONG (Feb 12) -- Hong Kong-listed Dongfeng Motor Group sold a total of 298,077 vehicles in January, a 17.3% rise year-on-year.

In the same month in 2017, the Chinese state-owned vehicle maker sold 254,219 units.

Sales of passenger vehicles rose 13.5% to 261,443 units from 230,453 units in January 2017, the company said in a release.

Meanwhile, total vehicle output for the month rose 17.6% on-year to 300,805 units. Passenger vehicle output rose 16.7%, while bus production improved 49%.
