Malaysia's AirAsia Expects Earnings To Improve In 2018 After Weak 4Q

By Kuala Lumpur Newsroom
Nikkei Markets
KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27) -- Malaysia's AirAsia, Asia's largest discount carrier by fleet size, posted a 20% fall in quarterly net profit, as a sharp rise in fuel costs as well as higher other expenses offset an increase in revenue and passenger traffic.

The airline however outlined a bullish forecast, expecting strong demand across most sectors.
